Hyderabad: City-based Walgo Telecom Infra, a company that specialises in telecom infrastructure solutions, said in a statement that Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Karnataka Assembly Speaker UT Quader inaugurated the mobile signal booster antenna for 5G network at Vidhana Soudha.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Vidhana Soudha Chairman Basavaraj Horati, government officials, ministers and other eminent dignitaries.
In an official statement, the company said that Vidhana Soudha, the legislative seat of Karnataka, was experiencing problems with mobile phone connectivity in several areas. To address the issue, Hyderabad-based Walgo Telecom Infra, led by CEO Sridhar Rao, has installed antennas at no cost to the government.
The company further stated that the newly installed antennas will ensure 5G mobile network connectivity throughout the Vidhana Souda building, facilitating ease of communication. The technology upgrade is expected to improve connectivity and accessibility within the building.
