TikTok has a little-known tool that lets you watch clips offline. This is a game-changer for frequent fliers who don’t have access to the internet.
“Offline Video” does all the hard work for avid TikTokers, giving users access to 50 to 200 clips to fill 30 to 120 minutes of free time.
Internet access is required to download the clip, but you can watch it instantly even when you’re not connected.
Here’s how:
- Go to your profile and click on the three horizontal lines in the top right corner.
- Select “Settings & Privacy”
- Scroll down to “Cache & Mobile” and click “Offline Video”.
- You will be presented with a selection of options: 50 videos (30 minutes of viewing time) / 100 videos (50 minutes of viewing time) / 150 videos (70 minutes of viewing time) / 200 videos (120 minutes of viewing time)
- Please select before clicking “Download”
- The next time you open TikTok in airplane mode, you’ll see a notification at the bottom that says “Watch offline videos.”
- Enjoy scrolling!
