Orbee, a provider of automotive data management system middleware systems, has been selected as Holman’s customer data platform provider.
Obie said its platform will enable Holman to transform customer data from its network of about 60 dealerships across nine states into insights and analytics to deliver a truly personalized customer experience.
In addition to being one of the largest privately held dealership groups in the U.S., Holman offers a wide range of automotive services around the world, including fleet management and leasing, commercial vehicle equipment manufacturing, powertrain distribution and logistics services, insurance and risk management, and venture capital financing. The company will use Orbee’s technology as a single source of data intelligence.
“The way consumers purchase vehicles and auto-related services has changed dramatically in recent years,” Frank Carbone, executive vice president of Holman’s automotive retail division, said in a news release. “Today, consumers expect engaging, personalized experiences that simplify this process.”
“As our organization evolves to meet the needs of today’s consumer, we sought a robust platform that would enable us to seamlessly integrate data from our disparate dealerships and power our customer engagement strategy. After a thorough evaluation, Orbee stood out for its comprehensive data management capabilities, open architecture and commitment to data privacy and security.”
Orbee says its CDP integrates with existing systems to provide data enrichment, measurement, and activation capabilities. It is designed to deliver the following capabilities:
- A unified customer profile that aggregates data from first- and third-party sources and ensures real-time updates and regular data hygiene.
- Self-service tools for segmentation and audience creation in your marketing strategy.
- Automating customer journey communications.
- Tools to coordinate campaigns across channels to optimize customer engagement and marketing effectiveness.
“Over the past three years, our relationship with Holman has evolved tremendously,” said Atul Patel, CEO of Orbi. “At each milestone, working with this world-class organization has helped shape our product roadmap and strategic objectives.”
“Deepening our involvement in Holman’s vision to redefine the future of seamless automotive retail experiences will innovate data-driven capabilities that are becoming increasingly valuable in the mobility ecosystem, benefiting the entire industry.”
