Portland, Maine, February 6, 2024 — high bitean industrial software company, today announced that Hibyte Intelligence Hub Version 3.3 provides new and improved interoperability with industry-leading cloud services such as Snowflake Data Cloud and AWS IoT SiteWise. The latest release introduces his two new native connectors for Snowflake that support a wide range of industrial use cases.

The first new connector, Snowflake Streaming, leverages the Snowflake Snowpipe Streaming API. This interface allows you to publish directly to Snowflake tables without the need for staging files or third-party applications. This significantly reduces the compute, latency, and cost of frequently moving telemetry events to Snowflake. The second new connector, Snowflake SQL, allows HighByte Intelligence Hub users to directly query their Snowflake tables. Intelligence Hub goes beyond simply publishing to Snowflake and operationalizing it by making the insights and context gained through the Snowflake Manufacturing Data Cloud available to industrial devices and applications.

“With Intelligence Hub, Snowflake customers can benefit from modeled industrial data that reflects the reality of their operations, rather than the limitations of connectors or underlying industrial data sources.” said Pugal Janakiraman, Industry Field CTO of Manufacturing at Snowflake. “The new interoperability introduced in HighByte Intelligence Hub version 3.3 enables our industrial customers to enable advanced use cases such as closed-loop event processing at the edge based on anomalies detected from ML/AI workloads in Snowflake Data Cloud. We look forward to continued collaboration with HighByte to ensure our customers get even more value from Snowflake’s single unified platform.”

HighByte Intelligence Hub is an Industrial DataOps solution that contextualizes and standardizes raw industrial data at the edge and provides usable information to cloud service partners. Receiving consistent and usable industrial data accelerates the adoption and expansion of these cloud services, allowing industrial companies to coordinate digital transformation projects across the enterprise. Intelligence Hub provides operational technology (OT) domain experts with no-code applications that curate and contextualize industrial data according to standard data models.

“With this release, data from a unified namespace is available,” said Aron Semle, Chief Technology Officer at HighByte. “As both the interest and adoption of the UNS architectural pattern in the industrial market continues to grow, we complement that architecture by offering industry-leading interoperability with cloud and SQL database services through the HighByte Intelligence Hub. We have a bold vision for Intelligence Hub, and we drive it forward with every release.”

Intelligence Hub version 3.3 also introduces deeper integration with AWS IoT SiteWise. Intelligence Hub’s modeling engine and IoT SiteWise connector have been improved and enhanced to work with hierarchical asset structures. These improvements simplify the user experience, reduce effort, and provide a single, no-code approach to creating and delivering asset model hierarchies to his IoT SiteWise and integrating industrial data. .

Users can experience several new features in version 3.3 that improve performance, usability, and reliability. Most notably, Pipeline now has event replay integrated into the graphical builder. Output connections, including store and forwards, have statistics to monitor and manage their state. Core elements of Intelligence Hub have been refactored to improve handling and performance of large datasets. These improvements make HighByte Intelligence Hub a complete and essential industrial DataOps solution for scaling digital transformation across your enterprise.

Hibyte Intelligence Hub Version 3.3 is commercially available. All new features introduced in version 3.3 are included in the standard price. To request a trial version or purchase a subscription license, please contact HighByte or an authorized reseller.
