Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport has been ranked 6th in a ranking of 20 airports with the best Wi-Fi service in the world, ahead of Singapore’s Changi Airport and South Korea’s Seoul Incheon Airport.
Noi Bai Airport, one of Vietnam’s busiest airports, received an average rating of 4.15 out of 5 stars, according to a study by an India-based technology review website. electronics hubanalyzed star ratings for Wi-Fi connectivity from travelers on Airlinequality.com (Skytrax).
Changi Airport came in 8th place with an average rating of 4, while Seoul Incheon Airport came in 13th place with an average rating of 3.74.
Slovenia’s Ljubljana Airport has the best airport Wi-Fi in the world, with an average rating of 4.46 out of 5 stars. It was renovated in 2021 and offers free Wi-Fi throughout.
One traveler raved: “It’s great to have unlimited free Wi-Fi with no login required and it’s always reliable all the way to the boarding tunnel.”
Second place was Hong Kong Airport, followed by Finland’s Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, and Japan’s Tokyo Haneda Airport and Tokyo Narita Airport.
Noi Bai International Airport outperformed Changi Airport in February with an average rating of 6.8 out of 10, ranking it among the world’s best for business travelers, according to British financial research and information website BusinessFinancing.co.uk. It has become the best airport.
Noi Bai carries 25 million passengers annually.
In recent years, the government has succeeded in improving the quality of services and reducing waiting times in the process.
