The first generation of Google’s Nest Wifi routers have been on sale since 2019, but they may not be available for long. Google has decided to stop selling routers. This could be because the company will be announcing a replacement product soon, but until then you can get it for up to 72% off. From Amazon.
It’s important to note that Google still covers these routers with the latest security updates and has not announced any plans to discontinue it. This makes Nest Wifi a great option if you want to switch to a mesh router on the cheap. However, please note that it does not work with the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard.
Google Nest Wifi uses mesh technology to create a network that covers your entire home, eliminating those dreaded Wi-Fi dead spots without sacrificing speed like Wi-Fi extenders. Easy to connect and prevent your device from losing signal when moving to another location in your home. (If you want to learn more about how mesh routers work, read PCMag’s review.)
