The Khyber Pakhtankhwa government has decided to provide free Wi-Fi services in public parks in Peshawar, ARY News reported.
Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur presided over a meeting on beautification of the state capital.
During the meeting, CM Gandapur directed the concerned authorities to finalize the deal and present the free Wi-Fi service plan for approval by the state government.
He said the next step is to expand the service to other cities. The Prime Minister also directed the Peshawar Development Authority to come up with a beatification plan for the city.

At the meeting, it was decided to start Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) services on Nasir Bagh Road in the state capital for smooth movement of residents.
CM Gandapur directed that the city’s street lights be converted to solar power and called for construction of underpasses instead of flyovers.
The Prime Minister ordered the immediate construction of the remaining sections of Warsak-Nasir-Bagh Road, along with road repair works around the University Street BRT corridor.
He also directed the painting of walls and head bridges with designs to promote KP’s culture as well as placing artificial plants along all road corridors.
In this regard, Prime Minister KP has directed to seek cooperation from private organizations.
