In a video posted to TikTok, Michigan mother Autumn Freeman can be seen piecing together her reaction to her first child’s gender reveal with her second child’s reaction.
“Be warned: one of these videos shows gender disappointment,” she wrote in the video.
In the first video of 2021, when Freeman finds out her husband is having a girl, she laughs and happily jumps into his arms, exclaiming, “Oh my god, I’m so excited!” The situation is reflected.
In the second video, Freeman bursts pink confetti before admitting, “I’m actually sad.”
Her husband comforts her, saying, “It’s okay.” She will be beautiful like everyone else. ”
People were not happy about her reaction and many felt sorry for the baby.
One person said: “His smile just disappeared,” while another added: “So sad for that poor kid.”
“Oh my god!!! What a lively girl!!” another person commented.
Many believe that she should not have posted the video in case her children saw it in the future.
“When you grow up, your kids will see this too.” [you know]” said one person.
“She can show this to a therapist in 20 years.” [years]” wrote another.
In an interview with People magazine, Freeman explained that posting her gender reveal ended her disappointment.
“In my perfect world, we would have one boy and one girl,” she said.
“Violet and I really wanted a boy, but it was our first baby, so we were excited either way…and then we realized this was our last baby. .”
“I was probably depressed for about a week and then it went away,” she added.
“I told myself that the universe was giving me what I needed and what I could cope with. I was going to be a mother to a girl.”
Freeman isn’t ashamed to post her reactions. In response to the backlash for her comments, Freeman said: “I get a lot of hateful people in my comments who are like, ‘You don’t even love this baby.’ You don’t deserve this baby.”
“That’s not the case at all. It had nothing to do with how I feel about the baby, how much I love her, or how much she’s going to be loved. It was just a moment. But now it’s gone. I’m ready to welcome my daughter.”
She shared that she received a lot of support after posting the video, with many people thanking her for knowing they were not alone and sharing their raw reactions.
