Pat McAfee is one of the most polarizing and entertaining figures in sports media. Love him or hate him, he produced some incredibly viral moments on social media last season as a panelist on College GameDay.
The college football season hasn’t officially started yet, with tomorrow’s Week 0 game kicking off the season. But the College GameDay crew is in Dublin, Ireland, preparing for tomorrow’s Florida State vs. Georgia Tech game, and Pat McAfee is Have fun Himself.
Here’s a clip from today’s Pat McAfee Show, broadcast live from a pub in Dublin: As you can see, they were enjoying everything the pub had to offer.
People noted how drunk the former NFL punter looked during the broadcast.

Apparently ESPN went to SportsCenter a little earlier than planned, likely due to McAfee’s intoxicated state.

But that’s what it means to cast your lot with Pat McAfee: even if his media style isn’t sophisticated, he really is a man of the people.
It’s all off-the-cuff comments that don’t reflect well on the company, but there are also moments like this one on the Today show and on College GameDay before last year’s SEC Championship Game.
No doubt some will love him and some will hate him, but he will try to do anything to entertain.
