To provide students with access to free WiFi, the University of Delhi has allocated the following funds: INRAccording to a report by news agency PTI, $67.71 billion was paid for the entire university campus and a girls’ hostel to be built in Mukherjee Nagar, northwest Delhi.
WiFi (Wireless Fidelity) connectivity will be installed in around 90 schools in both North and South campuses of Delhi University.
The funds for the construction work will be provided from the loan corpus. INRIn October last year, the university received 938.33 million yen from the Higher Education Finance Agency (HEFA) to work on various development projects.

According to the agenda of the meeting, the university had last year submitted a letter to the University Grants Commission (UGC) requesting the resumption of MPhil at the Institute of Human Behavioral Sciences (IHBAS) as an interim arrangement for the benefit of students and patients. The University’s Academic Council and Executive Council, in a resolution of 2021, decided to discontinue the MPhil program from academic year 2022-24 in line with the National Education Policy 2020.
As per UGC’s Regulations on Minimum Standards and Procedures for Awarding Doctoral Degrees, 2022, higher education institutions can no longer offer MPhil programmes.
