Unlike our Gen Z kids, we Millennials didn’t have Snapchat, our own smartphones, or 5G. We grew up with chat rooms, one personal computer in the family, and dial-up Internet. Although the early days of the Internet are starting to feel like ancient times, the World Wide Web actually began in 1989. AOL and IRC were all the rage in his late 80’s, so they’re over 30 years old.
In the early days of the Internet, there were many interesting phenomena. That’s why one Redditor decided to ask fellow internet veterans, “What’s the old thing that only internet veterans remember?” In my case, it’s probably the old-school message boards, especially those related to Dragon Ball Z. If you are an internet veteran, please share your recommendations.

My Geocities page had them all.
Treat chat rooms like real, physical locations. The settings have been established. As people talked, they talked about what they were doing in the space. Typically, you use fonts or markers to specify actions. Go to the table and sip your coffee.
That awful raspy sound that humans can never perfectly reproduce when your modem makes a sound before your internet connection actually stabilizes.
