Seriously, we’re not sure if “Bushwick Bisexual” is do not have The name of the character Evans will play in the upcoming romance movie Materialist…but this post from a “Best of Chris Evans” fan account certainly looks that way. Many Question.

What’s known for sure is that Evans is one of three stars set to star in the 2025 film, alongside Pedro Pascal and Dakota Johnson. MaterialistA24 and writer/director Celine Song are Past Life was one of last year’s indie success stories, earning Oscar nominations for Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay.
Plot details are unknown, but Variety The New York-set romantic comedy is reportedly about “a high-end matchmaker who hooks up with wealthy men,” though no details have been given as to which actors will play which roles, although the IMDB logline reads, “The matchmaker’s lucrative business becomes complicated when she finds herself caught up in a toxic love triangle that threatens her clients.”

Now, the use of pronouns allows us to infer that Johnson will be playing matchmaker, caught between the characters played by Evans and Pascal, but still, there’s no proof that all three points in this love triangle won’t meet, right?
So, we don’t actually know for sure if Evans is playing a bisexual character. All we can rely on is this fan account’s tweet. Perhaps it’s just wishful thinking, but a girl can dream!
Who’s to say that Johnson’s matchmaker won’t set two queer single men, Evans and Pascal, on a date and end up making one of them fall in love in the process?
Whatever the truth, the internet is already circulating the “Chris Evans is Bushwick’s bisexual” rumor.
To be honest, everyone is a little The Challengers-pilled (not a bad thing). Luca Guadagnino’s hit tennis drama Also It’s a three-way love story that certainly emphasizes its queerness, certainly features a “all points of the triangle touching” scene, however briefly, and maybe it’s inspired other films to do the same.
