The new AyrMesh HubDuo, like the existing AyrMesh Hub, is a high-power mesh WiFi access point for outdoor use, but with one key difference: it’s the first Hub with dual-band technology. The new HubDuo is designed to provide ultra-fast outdoor WiFi to nearby devices and standard high-speed WiFi over longer distances. Like the AyrMesh Hub2x2, the AyrMesh HubDuo with MIMO can provide broadband-class WiFi to hundreds or even thousands of acres.
However, the new AyrMesh HubDuo has the high-powered 2.4GHz signal that AyrMesh users have been using until now, but it also has a 5.8GHz signal that delivers super-fast WiFi up to 100Mbps over short distances. The transmit power of the HubDuo is also highly adjustable, allowing AyrMesh HubDuo units to be placed much closer together than existing AyrMesh hubs.
