Malaysian telecommunications company U Mobile and the country’s telecommunications infrastructure company Edotco have announced a strategic partnership to accelerate the rollout of 5G networks under the government’s dual network model. According to the latest data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), 5G data usage accounted for 16.89% of the total mobile data usage in India in the first quarter of 2024.
