Getting a walking pad to help you stay in shape from the comfort of your home is a great idea, but that doesn’t seem to be the only reason people buy this exercise equipment.
A woman has revealed why she bought herself a walking pad in a video that has gone viral on social media.
In the hilarious clip, which was shared to TikTok by the username Kennerwood on Friday, the poster is first seen stepping on a walking pad, with the caption, “My husband thinks I bought a walking pad. “Things, versus…” is written.
However, the next shot reveals what she actually bought the gadget for. The caption that follows says, “The purpose of the purchase was…”
A woman is seen lining up some Skittles on her pad after cleaning it with a sanitary wipe. She supports the pad with some books and places her mouth on the back edge of the pad. The woman then tries to catch the candies falling from the rolling pad, like in a video game.
“I couldn’t resist trying this, hahaha, but it’s a lot harder than it looks. Have you guys tried this??” the caption asks.

One user, Carly Zitkas, commented, “What will happen on the carpet? I’m considering buying one, but I’m afraid it will overheat.” Emily said, “It’s dead, I only got one catch the first time, hahaha.”
