In perhaps the most Texas thing ever, a couple announced their pregnancy through a photo shoot inside an HEB grocery store.
Pop of Color Images shared photos of the couple and the HEB-themed announcement on Facebook on Monday, March 11th.
“Groceries for 3 people please,” the San Antonio photographer said in the post.
KENS reported that the expectant father, Jacob Alvarado, has been working at HEB’s warehouse for 11 years. He and his partner Zoe Medley are expecting their first child.
The couple was seen hugging a “HE-BABY” onesie in several photos taken in the baby section of a grocery store. Their shopping carts were filled with diapers, extra onesies, dill pickles, and, of course, the necessary items to satisfy their cravings.
Some of the photos also included a jar of Prego spaghetti sauce, which the photographer said was an important item for her pregnancy photoshoot.
“When Zoe found out she was pregnant, she came up with the idea of making a pregnancy announcement at HEB,” the photographer told KENS. “She wanted to include HEB products in the shoot as well as Prego jars. We couldn’t forget the Prego jars!”
In the comments of the post, HEB congratulated the couple and praised the Prego Sauce photo.
The photographer’s post received hundreds of shares and comments.
“These photos are cute! Love this idea!!” one person commented.
Another commenter said: “Definitely the cutest photo ever.”
According to the photo, baby Alvarado is expected to be born in October.
A Texas staple, HEB has more than 420 stores across Texas and Mexico.
