Haddonfield has the highest median household income of any county in New Jersey’s southernmost region, according to the latest U.S. Census data collected by Datawrapper and distributed by NJ Advance Media. The median household income for the Camden County municipality is $178,362.
Of the 32 towns in New Jersey with a median household income above $200,000, none are located in the Garden State’s six southern counties, and only one is in Ocean County (Mantoloking Borough – median household income of $240,417).
Of New Jersey’s six southernmost counties (Cape May, Cumberland, Salem, Gloucester, Camden, and Atlantic), only two towns rank in the top 100 for median household income. Penns Grove in Salem County has the lowest median household income at $29,821. Datawrapper has 560 towns listed in New Jersey.
