Of course, saving $110 on an affordable smartphone is a welcome deal. But if you agree to let Best Buy help you connect to your carrier, you can increase the discount to $210 (a $35 activation fee is required). As for the $110 price cut, this is the second time we’ve seen such a big discount; it was on sale at Amazon during last month’s Prime Day event. At the time of writing, the official Motorola Store is also promoting the Moto G 5G (2023). Here, you’ll have to be patient and take the $100 discount, but you can also save even more by trading in an older smartphone in good condition.
While the Moto G 5G (2023) already has a successor, this year’s model still retails for around $180, and there aren’t any major improvements over the 2023 version, making it a great value-for-money option for those on a budget.
For $139.99 you get an Android 13 smartphone with a 6.5-inch screen and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device also comes with a Snapdragon 480+5G chip, 4GB RAM, and a 48MP main camera.
While not overly impressive, this Motorola phone does a good job of covering the basics, and at this price, you can’t really expect much more. So, if you’re on a tight budget and need to replace your everyday phone with a 5G-enabled one, the Moto G 5G (2023) could be a good choice. Buy it at Best Buy and save $110.
