The Democratic National Convention TV listings for 2024viral moments are popping up everywhere, with examples like Lil Jon coming out to rap “Turn Down For What” becoming a hot topic on the internet, and people sharing their thoughts about the cameraman who switched the camera to a poor random woman after Oprah Winfrey made a comment about a childless Catwoman.
In her speech at the Democratic National Convention, Oprah explained that if a house was on fire, we wouldn’t ask about the victims’ race, religion, sexual orientation or political leanings — and, as you can see in the CBS News video below, “if it was a childless woman who loved cats,” she would try to save the cat, too.

Notably, when she said “kid-free, cat-loving women,” the camera cut to a young woman in the audience named Theresa Woman. It’s unclear why this happened, but the internet certainly seems to be thinking about it, sparking this response from @SpencerAlthouse: X:

To provide some background, in 2021 Donald Trump’s running mate J.D. Vance made the following comments on Fox News: NBC News) said Kamala Harris is one of those childfree “cat girls” who “want to make the rest of the country miserable,” before naming other prominent childfree Democrats, including Pete Buttigieg and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and explaining that the Democratic Party is “run by childfree people.”
In the comments section of Oprah’s video where she referenced Vance’s remarks, many shared their thoughts about the unknown woman seen on camera, with Beyoncé being mentioned in quite a few comments, with one person writing:

Those who sympathized with the photographer’s choice expressed their feelings with comments like:

As I mentioned earlier, the woman in this video is Teresa Warman, the state representative for Maryland’s 16th district. Guardian She too reacted to this topic, but instead of being afraid of it, she embraced it and wrote: X and this:

While many felt sorry for Umann, she was clearly having fun with the situation, and this was another big talking point to come out of the Democratic National Convention.
Honestly, I’m a bit disappointed. Saturday Night Live Currently not on the air. Sketch comedy show ( Peacock Subscription) would probably have had its heyday in such circumstances. But this series, its representative Impressions of the Presidentand Maya Rudolph’s Kamala Harris impersonation, especially back It’s September 28th, so the Democratic National Convention will be over for a while.
But if the election has proven anything, it’s that we need to expect the unexpected: There are already many cases of the virus, and more are sure to come.
