Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy Tab S10 series sometime in October. The company is discontinuing the regular Galaxy Tab S10 this time around, so this year we will only see the Galaxy Tab S10+ and the more powerful Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. As the launch draws closer, Samsung is getting all the necessary certifications for the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra from various regulatory agencies.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra Wi-Fi and 5G versions spotted on BIS certification website
Earlier this week, the 5G variant of the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra was certified by China’s 3C regulator. Today, our folks at 91Mobiles have spotted the Wi-Fi variant of the flagship tablet on the same certification website. Additionally, the 5G and Wi-Fi variants of the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra have also been spotted on the Institute of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website. The model numbers spotted on the BIS website are SM-X920 and SM-X926B.
Don’t forget that the Chinese 3C listing confirms that the model number SM-X920 is the Wi-Fi version. Therefore, it’s safe to assume that the SM-X926B could be the 5G version of the upcoming Android tablet. The publication also states that the Galaxy Tab S10+ could come in three models: SM-X826B, SM-X826N, and SM-X828U. Meanwhile, the Ultra version could also come in three models: SM-X926B, SM-X926C, and SM-X926N.
The Plus and Ultra models are likely to be launched with the MediaTek Dimensity chipset.
The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is likely to feature a 14.6-inch display similar to its predecessor. Moreover, the high-end tablet may support 45W wired fast charging. Moreover, there are also claims that the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset.
If the claims about the Galaxy Tab S10 series’ processor are true, the device will definitely be a performance monster, especially with the Mediatek Dimensity 9300+ clocking up to 3.4GHz, which is just slightly faster than the 3.36GHz speed of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor in the Tab S9 Ultra.
Talking about RAM and storage, the Ultra model is likely to ship with 12GB and 16GB of RAM and three different storage options – 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. As of now, we cannot confirm the launch date of the Galaxy Tab S10 series. However, the tablets have been spotted on multiple certification websites, suggesting that their launch is imminent.
