As Motorola prepared to officially unveil the Moto G45 5G earlier today, industry experts and tech publications appeared to spill many of the G55 and G35’s secrets.
Will we see the two phones unveiled on August 29th?
All of this sounds like it has the potential to be pretty flashy and eye-catching, but the Moto G55 5G doesn’t look particularly good in the four “EV leak” photos embedded above. The situation isn’t helped by these renders, which only show the front of the phone, zooming in on its seemingly gigantic “chin,” with the rear panel nowhere to be seen for the time being. We can be sure, however, that it will sport the same vegan leather finish as the Moto G45, which will undoubtedly contribute to an overall elegant and striking look.
What are the specs and price?
At the moment we don’t have anything resembling a full specs sheet for the G35 and G55, but recent benchmarks have shown the former to be powered by a modest Unisoc T760 processor, making it abundantly clear that it’s a more modest, and therefore almost certainly cheaper, device than the Moto G45. This means that the Moto G35 could be priced well below €150 in Europe.
Meanwhile, the Moto G55 5G will almost certainly be more expensive than both the G35 and G45, naturally, but since we know almost nothing about the specs, it’s hard to predict how much higher the price will be.
With 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, Motorola’s G55 is unlikely to be priced below 250 euros in the Old Continent, unless of course other models are planned. Like the already-announced G45 (in India), the Moto G35 and Moto G55 will probably not make it to markets like the US, but will be focused mainly on cost-conscious regions in Europe and Asia.
