“We know that a truly unified wireless experience consisting of Wi-Fi and private 5G will enable a seamless user experience across the enterprise campus,” Kumar Srikantan, vice president and general manager of Zero Trust Campus Networking at Arista, said in a statement. “We are working closely with Highway 9 Networks to provide customers with a unified wireless network solution that delivers ubiquitous coverage indoors and outdoors, improving productivity, efficiency and innovation.”
“As manufacturing and warehousing transform through AI and automated operations, also known as Industry 4.0, there is an increasing strain on wireless and wired network connectivity required for autonomous vehicles, drones and robotic manufacturing,” said Curt Ahart, vice president of business development at Digi, in a statement. “Digi is partnering with Highway 9 Networks to use mobile cloud to enhance network coverage across factory floors and outdoor areas to ensure uninterrupted production output and efficiency for our customers through optimally connected AI and automation workloads.”
The Mobile Cloud Alliance program includes four main pillars:
- Mobile Network: It integrates with end-user devices, gateways, access points and routers to deliver compatibility and performance, secure data transfer, speed and reliability.
- Enterprise IT Infrastructure: Apply existing enterprise security controls and network infrastructure policies to protect data integrity, prevent unauthorized access, and optimize network operations.
- Partnerships with mobile phone providers: It ensures reliable, high-speed mobile connections, wide-area coverage, and enough capacity for your business operations.
- Cloud provider partnerships: It enables integration with cloud services and provides scalable computing resources, data management solutions, and support for hosting and deployment of services and applications.
