Data collected from iPhone 15 Pro 5G speed tests suggests that users will see a noticeable improvement in download speeds, but this is still subject to good network coverage.

Speed test results for just the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone Pro Max, compared to the two iPhone 14 Pro models, suggest that all three major networks in the US offer users good download speeds and slightly better upload speeds.

As announced just four days ago, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 5G modem-RF systems for smartphones will be provided to Apple for smartphone launches in 2024, 2025 and 2026. In theory, this means that Qualcomm’s modems will be used in the iPhone 18 series.
