The CSWBP Crime Prevention Action Table, in partnership with Saugeen Valley Child Safety Village and the Rotary Club of Walkerton, is pleased to welcome families to Family Safety Day on Saturday, August 24th.
The event will focus on teaching road safety to children up to the age of 11 through fun and engaging lessons such as driving a battery-powered kids’ car and riding a scooter with a police officer.
The event will allow parents and guardians to learn how to keep themselves and their children safe online.
Families can interact with Crime Stoppers Grey Bruce and Victim Services Bruce Grey to learn about their programs and services. After a fun, interactive learning session with officers, families can enjoy a free BBQ and receive a goodie bag to take home.
The event Saugeen Valley Children’s Safety VillageIt’s located at Sulphur Springs Conservation Area (261123 Grey Road 28), south of Hanover, Ontario. It runs from 10am to 2pm, with sessions starting at 10am, 11am, 12pm and 1pm.
