detailMany strategic businesses in the city have reportedly been left without internet and telecommunication services for nearly a week.
This includes the All-Russian Institute of Physical Sciences, a Russian nuclear weapons developer that had only ties to Vega.

“Due to the successful attack on cyberspace, the attackers were able to obtain personal data of employees of the sanctioned plant as well as various other documents,” the Ukrainian Defense Intelligence Service said.
In particular, the information obtained will enable the Defense Intelligence Agency of Ukraine to identify sanctions evasion mechanisms and persons involved in them.
The cyber operation also threatened to disrupt Russia’s national defense procurement, as evidenced by comments on a local Telegram channel.
