If you think Motorola’s product portfolio is too complicated to understand, just wait until the company unveils the recently leaked Moto G45 5G, which is not to be confused with last year’s Moto G54 5G, which, in what are undoubtedly genuine high-quality renders, boasts a design that’s pretty similar to the newer, obviously higher-end Moto G85 5G.
Believe it or not, the phone is expected to retail for around 15,000 rupees in India, which is equivalent to less than $200 at current rates. If this is true, it means that while the 5G-enabled Moto G45 could be had for under €200 in Europe, it’s highly unlikely to ever make it to the US.
One look at the G45’s somewhat thick screen bezels (especially at the bottom) and the rumored 6.5-inch display with HD+ resolution and you’ll quickly see that this is a more modest (and cheaper) device than the aforementioned G85.
But surprisingly, the 6.5-inch LCD panel is also said to support 120Hz refresh rate technology, which is either wrong or a completely outlandish feature for such an ultra-budget device.
The rest of the specs leaked today aren’t bad either, with the Moto G45 5G packing a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor, 4GB RAM, a 5,000mAh battery, and a 50MP main camera paired with a decidedly modest 2MP depth sensor on the back.
