The Vivo T3 Pro 5G is expected to be unveiled in India soon. Though the company has confirmed its imminent launch, it has yet to announce the launch timeline or date of the device. Vivo has also revealed the design and some key features of the much-awaited smartphone. The price range of the phone has not been outright confirmed but has been hinted at as well. It is expected to join the Vivo T3 5G series in India, which includes the Vivo T3 5G, Vivo T3 Lite 5G, and Vivo T3x 5G.
Vivo T3 Pro 5G India launch, design, features
The Vivo T3 Pro 5G is expected to be launched in India soon, the company has confirmed through its official microsite. A similar page for the device has also surfaced on Flipkart, confirming the device’s availability on the e-commerce site.
Vivo’s T3 Pro 5G is listed to feature a 3D curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and eye protection. It is said to have the brightest display in its segment with a peak brightness level of 4,500nits. In the fine print, the segment is defined as “products launched by August 26, 2024, in the sub-Rs 25,000 price range.” Hence, it would be safe to assume that the Vivo T3 Pro 5G will be launched after August 26 and sold in India for a price below Rs 25,000.
Other details about the Vivo T3 Pro 5G are yet to be confirmed. According to the microsite, the design of the device will be revealed on August 20. It has been teased in an orange vegan leather finish. The chipset used by the phone will be announced on August 21, but we do know that it will be a Snapdragon SoC.
The camera and battery details of the Vivo T3 Pro 5G are expected to be announced on August 23 and August 26, respectively. The phone is expected to come with a Sony main camera sensor.
Vivo T3 Pro 5G Specifications (Expected)
Notably, the Vivo T3 Pro 5G is speculated to be a rebranded version of the iQOO Z9s Pro, which is expected to launch in India alongside the regular iQOO Z9s on August 21. Hence, the Vivo T3 Pro 5G might come with similar specifications to the upcoming Pro version of the iQOO Z9s.
Like the iQOO Z9s Pro, the Vivo T3 Pro 5G is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. It is IP64-rated dust- and water-resistant and measures 0.749cm (7.49mm) thick. The phone is likely to be equipped with a 5,500mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging.
In the camera department, the Vivo T3 Pro 5G is likely to feature a dual rear camera unit with a 50-megapixel IMX882 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and may support 4K video recording and AI-assisted features like AI Photo Enhancement and AI Erase.
