This week’s Gizchina news
While the Moto G34 5G was equipped with the Snapdragon 695 SoC, the new device comes with the Unisoc T760. It is worth noting that Motorola is also set to unveil the Moto G45 5G in India next week, which will be powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3. Given this, it is unclear whether the Moto G35 is for the Indian market or will be launched in other countries. The Moto G45 5G seems to be the true successor to the G34 5G in terms of performance. The new G35, on the other hand, feels more like an upgrade to 5G, possibly keeping the price the same.
In addition to the Geekbench details, the Moto G35 has also received EUT (Test Equipment) certification. The model numbers XT2433-1 and XT2433-2 indicate the inclusion of NFC support. The certification further suggests that the device will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging.
As the official launch draws closer, we expect to see more information about the Moto G35 soon. It will be interesting to see another budget smartphone featuring Unisoc’s new 5G chip. This is a new addition to the market and will undoubtedly help popularize 5G smartphones in the budget market.
