Cherry Creek Food Hall and Brewery (formerly The Grange), located at 6575 Greenwood Plaza Blvd., was the venue for a light-up kickoff event on March 13 to celebrate the arrival of Ting Internet’s fiber optics to the city of Greenwood Village. Ta. The service costs GV residents $89 per month when they sign up and comes with a five-year warranty. To help accelerate construction, the city has pledged up to $5 million in funding to Ting, conditioned on meeting promised construction deadlines.
More than a dozen Tin staff members were there to answer questions and celebrate. They were led by Jason Smith, Chief Network Officer and Executive Vice President of Operations, and CJ Enrenreich, Senior Director of Construction Operations, who traveled from North Carolina for the event. The Ting team attended the party along with members of the GV City Council, as well as Ting’s current and future customers. The party included favors with plastic bottles, compact blankets, and even a small chocolate candy stamped with his Ting. Cherry Creek Food Hall General Manager Jeff Carter oversaw the food hall’s extensive and delicious selections, including French desserts by Alice in Florand.
Deb Walker, Ting’s Regional Community Engagement and Public Affairs Manager, said: The community is really excited to have us here. ”
We asked Deb what options are available to new Ting customers who currently have cable internet and TV service but want to upgrade their internet to fiber. Deb explained: “We can help people continue watching TV through streaming over the internet. We can help people continue to watch TV by streaming over the internet. ” She reminded us that Ting currently promises customers 2Gbps of symmetrical service (upload and download).
Current and future Ting customers who attended the festival included Joan Blasberg and Barry Blasberg. Their His Ting service operates out of his home in Bellevue near His Avenue and Yosemite Street. Barry is an electrical engineer who understands technology well and is very satisfied with Ting’s service. He said Ting delivered on his promise of upload and download speeds of over 2Gbps, but noted that many modern computers still can’t handle that kind of speed. Some might say that’s why, as we pointed out, Ting calls its service a “future-proof” service. Another aspect of Ting’s service that Barry and Joan appreciate is that the company offers his 24/7 customer service representatives who are quick and knowledgeable, and the person they contact All are based in the United States.
Other GV residents, including Brian and Diane Card and Renee Zerkind, also attended the party and wanted to learn more about Ting’s services, which they plan to take advantage of when they become available.
Ting’s citywide installation began last fall and will continue until completion is scheduled for summer 2027. The project will be carried out in his three stages. A complete schedule and details, including maps, are available on the city’s website.
