Today, T-Mobile is launching 5G Business Internet Backup, a $15/month backup. The service claims to provide up to 7 days of reliable 5G internet during internet outages.
T-Mobiles’ new service aims to provide services on par with traditional internet providers. This is to help you stay online even if your internet service goes down. You can switch until your main internet provider comes back online.
While this may be primarily targeted at businesses, many people, including those working from home, may find this a great option for staying online. With T-Mobile’s 5G service, you can always stay online even if your internet service goes down in a storm. For businesses, that could mean keeping their doors open and avoiding major losses from long-term internet outages.
