
Many users on social media were shocked to see the price.
A man recently revealed that he came across a stolen deal while searching for a flight from Washington, US to Mumbai. The user was searching for flight tickets on April 25 when he came across a connecting flight package for Rs 19,000. Surprised by the same, a man shared a screenshot of the unbelievable price on social media. Many users on the platform were shocked when they saw the price.
“Flight ticket from Washington to Mumbai costs Rs 19,000,” Falgun wrote on X (formerly Twitter) along with a screenshot. He further added: “How is that possible? I made it to the payment page. It also includes 2 pieces of regular checked baggage!”
The screenshot shows economy flights from Washington to Mumbai from a number of travel agencies. You can see that FlightNetwork sells the cheapest ticket for Rs 18,770. Flight tickets for the same route were also available for just Rs 19,332 on GotoGate and Rs 19,815 on Cleartrip.

The photo also shows the connecting flight route from Washington to Mumbai. The plane took off from Washington Dulles Airport and stopped in Jeddah on its way to Mumbai.
Since being shared, it has raised over 190,000 on social media. Many people became suspicious and checked for themselves whether the transaction was genuine.
“Are you serious?” said a user.
“It’s crazy! I just checked and it’s April 17th at 6pm on Saudia Airlines,” the source said.
A third person wrote: “If the plane is a Boeing, it may be missing some panels, which could lower the price.”
“Are you kidding me?!” one person said.

“Please update or investigate and see the 100% increase,” the user said.
“Maybe it’s because very few people can arrange a visa in such a short period of time,” the user said.
One user wrote, “Maybe someone messed with the backend!”
