PLDT Enterprise and Cisco plan to work together to bring to market technology and managed services that enable enterprise customers to deploy private 5G and achieve better business outcomes. The companies plan to accelerate edge connectivity through PLDT Enterprise’s managed private 5G solutions, allowing business partners to seamlessly integrate private 5G into their existing LAN, WAN, and cloud infrastructure. This will allow businesses to leverage their existing infrastructure for security, policy, and device management to leverage the benefits of 5G.
Together, the companies will quickly enable critical Industry 4.0 capabilities such as push-to-talk, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), always-on PCs (for digital frontline workers), machine vision (predictive maintenance, PPE detection, etc.) can.
