In 2024, there will be a new definition of living, working, and traveling. In the past, all three were separate entities. Where you lived wasn’t where you worked, and where you worked you didn’t travel. But with trailers and campers, that whole definition is changing. Where you live now is where you work, and where you work is also where you travel. Cincinnati-based Remote Vans has been implementing this transformation since 2021, and his three new models – Friday, Oasis, and Aegis – have taken him to new highs in 2024.
The three remote van variants are built on the Mercedes Sprinter chassis with “power, comfort and connectivity” at the forefront. Born in the company’s new 30,000 square foot production facility, the Friday, Oasis and Aegis are all designed and manufactured in-house, with the exception of minor metal fabrication performed by local vendors. Power comes from the Sprinter, but the remote van experience of a Class B motorhome ensures comfort and connectivity with Starlink high-speed internet. Everything is powered by a giant power bank and can be charged electrically or with a 190-watt solar panel.

Remote Vans is now entering the RV market with customization features that set it apart from its competitors. For example, the new Friday, Oasis and Aegis are equipped with in-house shower pans (recirculating and collapsible shower systems), fresh water tanks, and other suitable features such as Esper water heaters and heating systems, making them long-lasting. You can enjoy camping for hours.

The new power bank (consisting of a 16.8 kWh 51 V lithium-ion battery and 3,000 W inverter) in these remote van models has 60 percent more storage than previous models. Handle the power needs of an efficient 48-volt air conditioner that can run for days on portable energy. All three feature-packed variants are perfect for both small and large expeditions, but Friday’s base model features a suspension kit, long-range fuel tank, and additional features that the Oasis and Aegis have. It lacks some premium features such as solar panel options.

Friday’s prices start at $205,000 and include a kitchen, queen bed, 90-degree swing seat, internal shower, portable toilet, roof rack and sunshade. Upon entering the entryway, you’ll find a comfortable and warm living space filled with a legless bed, scratch-resistant kitchen, overhead shelves, and lightweight upper cabinets. The kitchen, consisting of a countertop, induction cooktop, microwave, simple drawers, sink, and refrigerator, is easily accessible from inside or outside the van.

The queen size bascule bed is designed to fold up during the day and provide 17.4 square feet of unobstructed garage space underneath when you need it. Also, an interesting swivel seat and folding swivel table allow for multiple remote workstation setups and dining possibilities. go. Friday’s basic necessities remain the same for Oasis and Aegis, but the price of his two campers for the latter jumps with a few extra features.
