Samsung on Monday announced Exynos-powered Galaxy A55 5G and A35 5G smartphones for the Indian market. The Korean company also introduced Knox Vault for the first time in this lineup for security.
Samsung claims that Knox Vault is a hardware-based security solution that protects against both hardware and software attacks that isolate the main processor and memory.
Both the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 feature 6.6-inch Super AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits peak brightness. The front is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
Both A-series smartphones come with a 5,000mAh battery and support a 25W charger. The phone does not come with an adapter.

Galaxy A55 5G is powered by Exynos 1480 processor with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The Galaxy A35, on the other hand, features an Exynos 1380 SoC with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB space. It runs on One UI 6.1 based on Android 14.
Galaxy A55 5G is equipped with a 50MP main lens, 12MP ultrawide sensor, and 5MP macro camera. It is equipped with a 32MP front camera. The Galaxy A35 5G also has a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5MP macro. It is equipped with a 13MP front lens.
Samsung has not yet announced the price of the Galaxy A55 or A35.
