In a bid to create a buzz among foodies, a snack kiosk in Ahmedabad has installed a robot that serves iced gola to customers, and the move has taken the internet by storm. The same viral video shows a pop-up truck named “Robot Cafe” using the robot “Aisha”.
According to reports, the robot specially designed to serve ice gola costs around Rs 1.35 lakh. This viral video was shared by Kartik Maheshwari, a food blogger from Ahmedabad. The clip begins with the robot walking toward the customer with a tray. As the video progresses, the owner can be seen standing next to the robot and waving to customers.

Once the ice gola is prepared, a wheeled robot transports it to the customer. Sharing this clip, the blogger wrote, “A robot serving ice gola. First time in Ahmedabad. Starting from ₹40 and worth it. Hygienic and fully automatic.”

The video quickly took the internet by storm, garnering countless reactions ranging from applause for the automaton to praise for its level of hygiene. One user was quick to connect the development to the huge number of engineers in the country, saying, “It just proves that engineers are quitting engineering and doing all this nonsense.” Another netizen revealed a little about the snacks served, saying, “This dish is called bingsu, which is a popular dessert in Japan. Shaved ice and shaved ice cream.”
