Infinix will globally launch the Note 40 series on March 18th at the Sepang International Circuit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The company is asking us to “embrace speed,” and that specifically seems to mean charging speed.
The Note 40 series is likely to be Infinix’s fastest charger ever. This is confirmed by the launch of his Note 40 Pro + 5G retail box by Infinix itself.
As you can see below, some details are obfuscated, but this is clearly at least 100W wired charging, if not 200W, which is the fastest Infinix has ever charged. It will be the speed. The Note 40 Pro+ is also promised to come with wireless MagCharge, which was revealed exclusively just a few hours ago.
Think of this as the Infinix version of Apple’s MagSafe and you’ll get the idea. The system theoretically supports up to 110W wireless charging, but it looks like the Note 40 Pro+ won’t go that far, as only one digit appears to be missing in the shot above.
The last detail that can be gleaned from the box image is that the screen sides of the phone itself may be curved. For what it’s worth, Infinix promises a flagship phone experience with his Note 40 Pro+ 5G.
In addition to this, Infinix will also launch Note 40, Note 40 Pro, and Note 40 Pro 5G, according to certification in Indonesia. The Note 40 Pro 5G will have a 5,000mAh battery, so the Pro+ model could follow the same path, but this is just speculation at this point, so take it as such.
According to Google Play Console, the 4G-only Note 40 Pro will be powered by MediaTek’s Helio G99 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. It will run Android 14 from day one, with a screen resolution of FHD+ and a pixel density of 480 ppi. The FCC has revealed that this model supports 70W wired charging.
