Organized by SNS-OPS, ECSO, NetworldEurope and hosted by INRIA.
In a pioneering initiative, the 6Gsec Common Path and Cardinal Points Conference brought together the European cybersecurity and smart networks and services (SNS) community. The day was filled with discussions about the evolving policy and threat landscape, the research and innovation agenda, and cutting-edge technology and collaboration perspectives in the security field. The event brought together experts and enthusiasts to delve into the future of cybersecurity in the 6G era.
“6Gsec (CP)²” was held on January 23, 2024 at Campus Cyber in Paris, France. The event was organized by Emmanuel Dotaro (Thales) and Roberto Cascella (European Cybersecurity Organization, ECSO). Researchers, practitioners, and policy makers from both the cyber and 6G communities We will come together to share insights on how to secure 6G networks and services.
The program consists of the keynote speech “Future SNS network”, Thomas Orazio (France 6G) presented an overview of the package of actions and initiatives envisioned by the French government to tackle social media security.
Matteo Mohr from the European Cybersecurity Agency (ESCO) then gave a comprehensive presentation on the current policy situation. When the audience dives into that complex world, Cyber security policyThe mall set the stage for the rich discussion that followed.
The event moved into the strategic area with Fabio Martinelli, Chair of ECSO’s Working Group 6, and Rui Aguar, Chair of Networld Europe. Their insights on the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda, both updated during this year, illuminated the way forward and highlighted the need for collaborative efforts to address emerging cybersecurity challenges. .
Mr. Apostolos Malatras, Team Leader European Union Cybersecurity Agency (ENISA) took to the stage to analyze the evolving threat landscape and provide valuable insights into current and emerging cybersecurity threats.
Technical discussion group bringing together European experts
