Maxis today announced new 5G home WiFi plans. Plans are available in three options starting from RM69. Each option has different quotas, speeds, and other benefits. The carrier says this option caters to customers who want a wireless Internet solution at home without the hassle of wiring, drilling or installation.
The first tier, Maxis 5G Home WiFi 69, is a SIM-only plan that offers 120GB of 5G access and quota and unlimited speeds. Home WiFi 99, on the other hand, offers unlimited 5G access/allocation and speeds up to 100Mbps. Finally, Home WiFi 139 offers unlimited 5G access/quota and uncapped speeds.
All plans come with 30GB of 4G backup data, and the RM99 and RM139 options include a free 5G router. Maxis says the router can support up to 30 devices simultaneously and is also available as an optional add-on with a 24-month contract. Additionally, a data pass add-on is also offered for all three, priced at RM15 per 10 GB (4G/5G) data (valid for 30 days).
