A video of a man playing badminton with a broom has gone viral on social media. It depicts a man entering a badminton court with a broom and using it to hit the shuttlecock.
The video was shared by Jatin Sharma, also known as ‘Badminton Enthusiast’, on Instagram last week. In the short clip, a man and a woman are seen playing traditional badminton. Within seconds, another man entered the court and interrupted the match in an unexpected twist. He then goes on to demonstrate his exceptional ability in traditional badminton by playing the game with his broom rather than his racket. He also managed to score points towards the end of the clip.
Since being shared, the clip has been viewed 3.5 million times and received 1.9 million likes. “Never judge a book by its cover,” the words read in the video.

Social media users were surprised by the clip, and some even praised his skills.
“The racket was invented by 1926 people before 1926,” said the user.
