Keysight Technologies Corporation KEYS has introduced a comprehensive training and validation solution for neural receivers in collaboration with. NVIDIA Corporation N.V.D.A. A state-of-the-art 6G neural receiver design flow provides advanced tools and insights that facilitate seamless integration of AI capabilities into mainstream wireless communications networks. While 5G incorporates AI to improve certain components of the wireless network, 6G will be the first generation of AI-based wireless technology.
However, evaluating the performance of neural receivers in end-to-end systems is difficult because the data required for training is not available. Prior to commercial deployment, it is important to properly train neural receivers to outperform traditional receivers. Keysight leverages the NVIDIA Sionna library to generate site-specific training data and develop digital twins of real-world networks.
After training is complete, the neural receiver is deployed within an open RAN testbed. The Keysight PROPSIM Channel Emulator is utilized in the process of emulating site-specific channels. The channel emulator platform offers the widest signal bandwidth in the industry to effectively address the test complexity associated with launching innovative technologies for a wide range of use cases, including 5G, WIFI, and advanced communications systems. Masu.
This solution ensures smooth incorporation of ray-traced channel impulse responses. Following this, a trained neural receiver takes on the task of demodulating the signal. This process ensures efficient evaluation of the block error rate of the end-to-end system and provides important information for the performance of the neural receiver. This is a major step forward towards Keysight’s goal of replacing human-designed physical layer receive chains with site-specific neural receivers.
The global 6G market is expected to gain solid market traction in the coming years. The introduction of this innovative natural receiver evolution technology strengthens Keysight’s portfolio and enables it to take full advantage of key market potential.
Keysight boasts a robust 5G portfolio. 5G product design verification solutions from layers 1 to 7 enable telecommunications and semiconductor companies to accelerate their 5G efforts. Apart from its strength in the 5G space, the company is expected to benefit from the growing penetration of electronic content in vehicles, momentum in space and satellite applications, and increased adoption of driver assistance systems globally.
The company is fueled by strong industry-wide growth. Electronic design and test solutions are firmly in place. Electronic devices form the core of IoT services, wireless devices, data centers, and 5G technology. The rapid proliferation of these devices has increased the demand for electronics test equipment.
The company’s market share has declined by 16.5% over the past year compared to the industry’s decline of 9.7%.
