Microsoft says On Your Data will enable these companies to create their own AI applications and even their own copilots to access corporate data. This allows these apps and co-pilots to provide more accurate answers to customer questions.
In addition to GPT-4, On Your Data will be able to use OpenAI’s other LLMs, including OpenAI GPT-35-Turbo, GPT-35-Turbo-16k, and GPT-4-32k. Businesses can enhance the security of their apps and copilots through private endpoints and VPNs. It also provides document-level access controls that allow customers to restrict access to specific corporate documents based on Microsoft Entra ID sign-up.
Copilots created via On Your Data can also be further customized, such as answering questions and limiting the number of documents they have access to.
On Your Data has already been used to create the Priya chatbot for a company called Young Williams. It was created for use by US state governments as their own custom chatbots. This includes Louisiana, where users can ask his Priya chatbot questions about the government’s SNAP system.
In addition to real-time document searches, On Your Data can be used to analyze legal documents, generate sample code, answer questions about HP’s needs, provide health advice, and more, according to Microsoft. You can check out the official documentation for On Your Data on Microsoft’s support site.
