The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) has long acknowledged such problems, blaming them on the commissioning of new pipelines and maintenance work.
The video was shared on February 7 and has so far garnered over 200,000 views on X, with mixed reactions from netizens.
One user commented: “Why don’t you ask this question first to Sova builders who build huge apartment complexes in places with no potable water?”
Another user suggested, “Please ask the builder and the association to repair the water treatment plant.”
“What a shame. HBs that paid hundreds of millions are doomed to live in such unsanitary conditions. Why did the project become OC when there is no drinking water available? ? The promoters are after profits, the government is after revenue, the judiciary is indifferent, HB is left in limbo, ”said a third user.
“There is not enough Cauvery water to feed everyone…The solution would be to build a dam at Mekedatu, but the TN government is against it and the Center is not supporting it either,” a fourth user wrote. commented.
“Those who rushed to buy hundreds of millions of dollars worth of real estate are waking up to reality. Neither the builders nor the authorities seem to care now. In other countries, piped water is supplied to city buildings. .Here we are buying cans and tankers.” Prepare for the worst,” a fifth user wrote.
